Dr Zafar Mirza, Prime Minister’s special assistant on health, has resigned

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on health Dr Zafar Mirza has left his post.

As per the subtleties, State Health Minister took to his twitter and announced his abdication with the reason for it.

He declared:

Since negative dialogue on the job of SAPMs and research on the gov is advancing, I decide to leave.

Pakistani residents need a better social security system.

I have sincerely tried to contribute to the purpose. Inshallah Pakistan will develop from COVID-19 with a more rooted hlth treatment system.

Due to ongoing negative discussion about the role of SAPMs & criticism on the gov, I choose to resign. Pakistani people deserve a better health care. I have worked sincerely to contribute to this cause. Pakistan

will Inshallah emerge out of COVID-19 with a stronger hlth care system.

He then went on to state:

I capitulated as a SAPM. I came to Pakistan on an individual greeting from the World Health Organization WHO by Prime Minsiter Imran Khan. I buckled down and sincerely.

Serving Pakistan has been a boon. I am satisfied that I am leaving when COVID-19 in Pakistan has declined because of a terrific national effort.
